The Green Lady
gl1

The Cabo is shaped like a missile.

gl2

Large oval hatch in the front - Not easily accessible while on the water.

gl3

Our Garmin 440s Fish Finder is mounted on a Bert's Custom Tackle track and electronics mount.

gl10

Another view of our Garmin and the track.

gl4

We changed out this tiny center hatch and installed a large rectangle hatch. We can fit a 5' long 24" wide fish bag inside our kayak now.

gl5

Bert's Custom Tackle ratcheting rod holders are mounted on Bert's Tracks.

gl9

The Bert's tracks make our rod holders very versatile.

gl12

Another view of these amazing rod holders.

gl13

And another...

gl14

My Garmin GPSmap 76Cx is undermounted using a Ram Mount.

gl6

Rudder is controlled from the rear, but we have emergency steering lines hooked up in the front too.

gl7

Rear tankwell is great for a small cooler bag or for storage.

gl8

We're planning to make a new rudder blade soon. Pics later.

gl15

The Green Lady II (Ocean Kayak Zest Two) hangs above the Green Lady III.

gl16

Back end of both kayaks.

Zest Two EXP ready for action. This is a stripped down version before the outriggers.

ubzest3.jpg

We used to have a cooler strapped to the back of the kayak w/rod holders on it too.

ubzest2.jpg

Our original PVC rod holders (actually modified ones but we don't have pics of the first version that was on our Cobra Tandem.

Made a live well from a rubbermaid container, clear hose, and bilge pump.

comphousingcover.JPG

The cover is made from a discarded computer case with plastic zip tie hinges.

ziptiehinges.JPG

The cover can be opened half way...

...or all the way.

ghettooverflowholes.JPG

Overflow was taken care of by strategically placed holes. Hahaha!

That little 8" hatch wasn't doing it for us, so we installed this one instead.

IMGP3228.JPG

We got it from West Marine.

IMGP3229.JPG

It took a bit of plastic stretching to get it to be water tight.

IMGP3230.JPG

Now it's big enough to put our 5' fish bag inside.

IMGP3232.JPG

The nice thing about this hatch is it's hinged, so we don't have to fuss with the hatch when we need to close it.
